Past Meetings: August 13-14, 2009 The Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC
Thank you to all who participated in the GSASC/SCASCA Joint Semi Annual Conference and Trade Show in Charleston! The meeting was held at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston.
The Education Committee did an excellent job organizing speakers and sessions. GSASC and SCASCA would like to send a special thank you to the Education Committee Chair Gayle Evans and committee members Becky Burnett and Belinda Rutledge for their efforts.
This conference included several key sessions including topics on advance directives, going green in your ASC, how to handle guests and visitors and infection control. On Friday, August 14th, Georgia Senator Ralph Hudgens was a guest speaker and gave a brief update on the national health care reform. Senator Hudgens also visited with attendees at lunch.
GSASC and SCASCA invite you to make plans to attend the next Joint Conference and Tradeshow in Atlanta on March 4-5, 2010.
