2009 Georgia General Assembly Legislative Summary

The Georgia General Assembly convened the 2009 legislative session on January 12th. As stipulated by Georgia’s constitution, the legislative session can meet for 40 legislative days.

GSASC leadership, members and the government relations team are working on the following legislative initiatives:

  • Protecting CON reform
  • Protecting tort reform
  • Prompt pay legislation
  • Silent/Rental network reform
  • Workers comp issues
