The Georgia General Assembly convened the 2010 legislative session on Monday, January 11th. As stipulated by Georgia's constitution, the legislative session can meet for 40 legislative days.
The 2010 session marks the second session of the two-year legislative cycle. As of mid-February, the General Assembly is on track to complete the session by the late March or the first of April.
