The Georgia General Assembly convened the 2010 legislative session on Monday, January 11^th. As stipulated by Georgia's constitution, the legislative session can meet for 40 legislative days.

The 2010 session marks the second session of the two-year legislative cycle. As of mid-February, the General Assembly is on track to complete the session by the late March or the first of April.
